Calgan Cleaning Tips

No matter which fabric your Calgan Recliner lounge suite is covered in, the same cleaning and care tips apply (except for a handful of fabric-specific guidelines* to follow)

Wipe spills immediately
Never let liquids sit. Use a damp cloth or sponge (not dripping wet), then dry the area with a towel.

Vacuum or dust regularly
Don’t forget the folds and seams as that’s where dust and smells can build up. Focus on the arms: These areas absorb sweat and food residue. Wipe them down often.

Don’t place your suite in direct sunlight or near heaters, as this can cause damage or fading.

Suede Fabric (Microfiber)

Our soft fabric range includes synthetic microfiber suede in colours like Mocha, Java, Americano, Espresso, and more. This fabric is stylish and plush, with a soft texture that adds warmth, but it requires gentle care to keep its appearance.

Genuine Leather

Choose between 100% corrected grain leathers, semi-aniline and buffed leathers from local and international suppliers. Our full leather suites are upholstered entirely in genuine leather. This type of leather is strong and long-lasting, but still needs care to stay soft and smooth.

Leather Look (Embossed Polyester)

These are 100% polyester fabrics with embossed patterns that mimic natural leather grain. They’re soft to the touch and easy to clean, and they are the ideal option for a leather look without the price tag.

Leather Upper

This is cost-effective combo of genuine and imitation leather where genuine leather is used on all high-contact areas (seat cushions, backrests, and arm fronts) and the rest is finished in matching leather-look material.
